Fair Trade Producer Details
Minka is a non-profit organisation working with native communities in the poorest regions of Peru. A major objective is to ensure that a fair price is paid for traditional, hand-knitted garments; and to empower them through working together; especially women.

It sells and provides other support for producer groups around Peru, including hand-knitters, ceramic producers and a group which makes musical instruments. In the last years, Minka has been developing a sustainable tourism project with the artisan communities.
